project 001 — nudge
a couples app. not a reminder app.
built to reduce friction between two people who care about each other — but are busy.
this is the first product shipped under z21. from zero to live on the app store.
the problem
most relationship tension isn't dramatic.
it's repetitive.
- small requests left unacknowledged
- missed appreciation
- things left unsaid
not because people don't care. because attention is finite.
over time, that compounds.
nudge is built around a simple idea: make small acts visible. make appreciation easy. reduce the friction loop.
how it works
one partner adds something they need help with. the other completes it. it's marked done in a satisfying way. appreciation is sent.
that's the core loop.
no guilt metrics. no points scoring.
just action → recognition → momentum.
around that loop we've added:
- check-ins — structured emotional signals without heavy conversations
- love notes — prompted appreciation that lands at the right time
- treats — lightweight rewards that feel intentional
- moments — small prompts to interrupt drift
each feature exists to reinforce the same outcome: stay aligned. stay connected. without turning it into work.
who it's for
not couples in crisis.
couples in motion.
two people juggling jobs, life, responsibilities — who don't want connection to fade into background noise.
scope
three core screens. one primary loop. intentionally simple.
this is v1.
